Making the decision to seek help to address the emotional problems or concerns you have, whether from a traumatic experience, changes in your life, feeling out of control, bereavement, abuse, anxiety, relationship difficulties or anything else, is an important and sometimes difficult first step. You may be sensing things just do not feel right or that others are concerned about you. Understanding why by talking with a counsellor or psychotherapist may help you gain an alternate perspective of how problems continue to affect both yourself and others and enable you to respond differently.
